I Have One of THOSE kids

Look at what Allyson did? Yep! I was happily typing away on my computer when Kylie came to me with this:

and said, "Mom - Look with Allyson Did!"

Are you kidding me? "No!" she says and she wasn't.

I asked Allyson why she did it and she simply replied, "because I wanted to."

That is my Allyson!

By the way this is the second time! You think I would learn to put the scissors away!

Hannah Montana

Now that Kylie is older and doesn't like to watch Calliou and Barney, Allyson and Brynnah watch a lot of Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place.

So when we started talking about coming home with Grammy to Montana. Allyson kept saying, "when are we going to Hannah Montana?"

All the way there she kept asking, "Are we in Hannah Montana yet?"

When we FINALLY got to Montana she yelled, "Yay, we are in Hannah Montana!"

So Montana has been renamed, Hannah Montana! I am not real sure if she gets that we are in a different state or is like Kylie was and thinks that Grammy's house is actually Montana.

Obsessed

Allyson is obsessed with Babies, I mean obsessed. Most people who know her know this little tidbit about her.

However today she really showed how much she wants a baby. We were looking at pictures of Kylie when she was just a few days old and Allyson says to me:

"Mommy, I want to jump into the picture so I can be next to that baby!"

Oh my how she loves babies. I could just imagine if she had access to one. I think this girl is going to have a lot of children when she grows up.

Kylie Sick

Last week Grammy took Kylie to Piano lessons. Allyson was very upset that she had to stay home with me. She is very attached to her older sister these days. Actually she just doesn't like any one of us to leave home especially without her. This is the conversation we had shortly after Kylie and Grammy left.

Me: Al let's go get dressed.

Allyson: When is Kylie coming home?

Me: Not for a while, she is at piano.

Allyson: I don't want her to go to piano.

Me: She won't be long.

Allyson: I don't feel good. I am sick.

Me: Do you not want to get dressed?

Allyson: No I am sick and going to stay in my jammies.

Me: Ok.

Later Grammy noticed that she was still in her jammies. I told her the story and Kylie says, "she was Kylie sick!" I said, "as opposed to home sick?" Kylie replied, "well she wasn't home so she had to be Kylie sick." Allyson stood up and said, "I am better now so I can get dressed, Kylie is home." Of course by this point it was about an hour away from bedtime!

Techno Kid

Kylie got an ipod for Christmas and she listens to it when we are the car. I also bought a splitter so Allyson could listen to it as well. The other day we were on our way to town and Kylie asked Allyson if she wanted to listen to it and Allyson says, "yes." Then she so casually asked, "Do you have Barney on your ipod?"

I just bought allyson her own ipod because Kylie no longer wants to listen to Barney. She is just too old for that kind of stuff.

Anyhow it came today and Kylie saw it first and says, "Allyson you got your own ipod?." Allyson replies, "I do? Where is it?" She got so excited .

We will have to see how long Allyson's ipod lasts but for now she thinks it is pretty awesome that she has her "very own ipod."

Handlebars

Allyson loves to go to the goats but she doesn't like to go in the pen without either Jacob or me. Even with us in the pen she still wants to be held for a while until she gets warmed up a bit to all the goats. {Allyson is by far the toughest of the girls but not the bravest - that attribute is currently tied by her sisters. I am not sure yet who is the bravest Kylie or Brynnah but it is most certainly not Allyson! This I know}

Anyways the other day she wanted to go in but she didn't! So I said something to the tune of - "it will be okay." "the goats won't hurt you." "you have been in there before."

Allyson turns to me and says, "I only like the baby goats not the ones with handles!" {meaning the mamas with horns.} I just had to laugh.

Mr. Cranford

I am telling you this girl, she is a pistol!

We have friends, Torey and Randy. Their girl Emaleah is one of Kylie's best friends. The girls call them Mr. and Mrs. Cranford, always have. Over the weekend they were over for dinner and Allyson was outside with Randy and Jacob while they were watching the grill. Allyson called Randy by his first name and Jacob corrected her by saying, "Mr. Cranford!"

Here is what followed:

Allyson: Randy!

Jacob: You call him Mr. Cranford!

Allyson: You call him Randy so I will call him Randy!

Jacob: You call him Mr. Cranford!

Allsyon: I am going to call him Randy you can call him Mr. Cranford!

Yep she has her own way of doing things and is a bit hard headed!
